Stacy Lattisaw gets going on this master piece. With Prince base guitarist Brownmark who also produced the CD. Track one 'Personal Attention' gets all the attention and 'Find Another Lover' is really telling it like it is.
Stacy slows it down on 'He's Got a Hold on Me' a song co-written with Brownmark. 'Let Me Take You Down' screams loud and the remake of 'Aint No Mountain High Enough' sung with co-host the adorable Howard Hewitt is a winner. 'Love Town' is a shining moment with other notable [erformances like 'Electronic Eyes' and 'Every Drop of your Love' smooths things out eloquently.
This CD is a must for Stacy Lattisaw fans. She copolates a real mature sound using a spice of passion, strength and her beautiful vocals. 'Every Drop of Your Love' 'Let Me Take You Down' as mentioned and 'He's Got a Hold on Me' as mentioned, and 'Electronics Eyes' are sensually mature, yet beautiful and showcases her more powerful, demanding and convicted singing style.
'Changes' is another favorite because the lyrics are so passionate and truthtelling as so is 'He's Got a Hold on Me', both co-written by Stacy and others. She admitted the lyrics are based on personal issues in an interview with Justin Kantor in 2010. Lastly 'Call Me' is upbeat, funky, exciting and delightfully demanding. She holds her own singing 'Ain't No Mountian High Enough'.
