For those in the know, Audrey Wheeler sang lead vocals for the excellent 80's soul, funk, boogie group 'Unlimited Touch' and Jeff Lorber's 1985 hit "Step By… Married the incomparable Will Downing and a finalist in the Miss Black America Pageant. You may not know the name Audrey Wheeler, but you've certainly heard her voice. Audrey is a top New York-based session singer. She sang in the local choir as well as a runner-up in the Miss Black Universe contest while still in her teens. Her recording career began in the early 1980's.
